Resilience Embodied:

A Dance of Indigenous Womanhood

A performance and research project that explores the underrepresented intersection of Native identity and contemporary dance through the lens of Cherokee womanhood. This work challenges Eurocentric norms in dance, celebrating Indigenous connections to the Earth, spirituality, and community. Through personal experience and collaborative artistry with Yami Rodriguez (filmmaker), the project seeks to reclaim space for Native narratives in contemporary dance.
